I once got scolded = by Tim McIntyre the CRI&P Agent in Ottawa for sitting on a baggage cart and= popping the bubbles and peeling the paint around the tops of the bolts tha= t held the wood to the frame. The cart in the baggage room at the CB&Q depo= t was in the baggage room and when I went to the depot with my dad, I alway= s talked to the telegrapher Chuck Bensel and then before we left, we would = go to the baggage room and get a drink of very cold water from the spout in= the corner of the baggage room. At both depots in Ottawa, the green on the= carts matched the green on the REA signs. I tried to talk my dad into painting the garage door that color when I was = 10. This is what I remember - the carts were a dark green, possibly the Br= onze Green used on the depot trim.  Could the color have been specifie= d by the Railway Express Agency?  I have used a Testors Dark Green ena= mel, which looked OK to me.  The best match for the Bronze Green is Model Master Euro Dark Green.
