Another question I have. In addition to all my friends n scale stuff I also received all his Burlington lanterns, timetables, and Burlington Bulletins. I was reading through Burlington Bulletin #55 on the 1956 DZ's. The way he always talked when he rode from Ottumwa, Iowa to Denver every year in the mid 50's to early 60's they were always pulled by a pair of E5's. But that does not seem to be the case after reading the issue. I can't imagine him mistaking the grace of an E5 for anything else. What was the power through the years on the DZ? Was it mostly E8's?
