The BRHS extensively covered the Southern portion of the LaCrosse division (Savanna to North LaCrosse) in our 100 page Burlington Bulletin 75.  It's available in the Company Store of the BRHS website.

When was the route from Savanna to St. Paul completed?  Was it built as CB&Q or something else?  Additional comments on construction would be of interest.
