Thank you for all the replies (which I hadn't seen because I get the digest rather than individual emails). 

 

Lenny, thank you for mentioning it and I do actually have SLOBR but it has been in storage for 8 years and I need to think of retrieving it soon! 

 

Louis and Jack, I do recognize the drawing in the member's area (I didn't realize the drawings were there because apparently I've never scrolled down that far on the member's page [facepalm]) as being from SLOBR (they were all redrawn for the book and the style is distinctive) and so yes, that is an excellent tender drawing since it has the dimensions given! :)

 

So my Google Earth analysis of 710 in Lincoln (just posted before I saw your replies)  was 2" narrow on the water legs and 4" wide on the coal space--not too bad for a not-too-fuzzy satellite photo...
