According to the Lincoln Star Journal they were on display from 1989 to 2012.

Thanks for these explanations. I can’t access the Archive so any idea when the cars were displayed at Lincoln?

Given the various details: welded side panels, the lip above the sill, a Youngstown style 10-foot plug door, trapezoidal stirrups and a high mounted power-brake assembly; my guess is a Brainard-built NP car, probably from the 96000 series
cars. The Chinese red car body and the Mineral-red era lettering a given that this is a post merger museum project. Jim Sandrin
These photos show CB&Q 24010 as part of the "BN heritage boxcar display" at Lincoln NE - also present were SLSF 10085, SP&S 12200, GN 138170 and NP 96069. All were apparently scrapped in 2012:
Just a guess, but this might not have been an XM-33B car or even a CB&Q car to begin with, just one that was available to be painted up for the display.
The attached photos were on eBay earlier this month, and shows newly painted CB&Q boxcar 24010, including a partial enlargement. No date or location was shown. According to the rosters,
24010 was a class XM-33B, built at Havelock in 1956 (prior to the Chinese red paint scheme being adopted) as part of series 24010-24349.
I have checked a large number of photos and all the other XM-33B’s (and XM-33’s, A’ and C’s) have sliding doors while this appears to have a plug door. The Ownership, Age & Condition reports state it should have a Camel door and there is no “exception” in the
ORER’s for this car.
Was this a one-off experiment, perhaps when it went into the shops for repainting?
