[CBQ] Wooden Passenger Car Paint Scheme for Use with CB&Q 4-4-0 Locomotives in 3-Rail O-Gauge

I am interested in the details of paint scheme & lettering for wooden passenger cars that were contemporaneous with CB&Q American 4-4-0 locomotives.

 

Would these passenger cars be in Pullman Green with gold lettering in RR Roman font ?

 

Would the letter boards have stated only

 

”BURLINGTON”

 

or would they have spelled out 

 

“CHICAGO BURLINGTON & QUINCY”

?

 

Did passenger cars from this era have only car numbers ?  

 

Did they have specie individual car names ?

 

What paint schemes & lettering did H&StJ use on their wooden passenger cars ?

 

 Did their letterboards display

 

”HANNIBAL & ST. JOSEPH”

?

 

At the Patee House Museum in St Joseph MO, reproduction RPO car H&StJ #1 is displayed in yellow pain with black trim.  

 

Was this yellow paint scheme unique to that car ?

 

Did H&StJ paint their passenger cars in a yellow paint scheme ?

 

A local hobby shop is considering a custom run with either H&StJ #35 or a more generic CB&Q 4-4-0 in 3-rail O-gauge.

 

The manufacturer has 64’ scale wooden passenger car sets to accompany their 4-4-0 models, also in 3-rail O-gauge.
