What ever they are, each load seems to fully occupy a single flat car. 

The “turret” like thing are all to same side of the loading. There must be a balancing amount of load on the unseen side

The 6 loads were unusual enough to be captured by an official photographer 

From the file naming convention was this train number 81? 

If yes where would that have run from and to where?

Tongue in cheek answer from a Brit would be 6 Dalek’s being shipped to area 59 for investigation.
