Offered for sale are the following 1/48th scale CB&Q waycar models. The prices have been reduced as I'd like these to disappear from my stash of boxes so that I can make room for layout construction. They'll head to ebay if not sold.
  1. Oriental Limited brass side door NE-1 waycar, nicely painted, but lettered CN. This model is accurate for CB&Q branchline mixed train waycar 14105. With some rework, the existing paint job could be converted into a mineral red version, or repainted in the later red version. Set up with the original trucks and O gauge 2-rail wheels. Includes the original box and foam. The prototype was used by the Q on a branchline mixed train. Perfect with a small steamer, diesel switcher or GP7. $250

  2. Oriental Limited brass NE-1 3-window waycar BODY ONLY, no underframe or trucks, unpainted, mint condition with original box. Scratchbuild an underframe, add some All-Nation Wood beam waycar trucks and you'll have a beautiful Burlington waycar. $115
