Over the weekend I finished up two NE-13 Waycars- these were "backdated" from what appear to be NE-13A's from Athearn Genesis. One was a C&S car, one the new CB&Q.

All I really did- besides uncorking them and learning more about the NCE Light Decoder- was strip off the exisitng lettering and re-decal (and renumber) them using Microscale set 87-1183. To me these now appear more like the NE-13s. I know they are not perfect, but to me and my operators, who honestly don't know a lot about the CB&Q, they look fine!

I am working on a video for my YT channel that goes into much more detail on this work.

I don't actually model the CB&Q; I got into it seeing some run through power on the NYC. I just really like the Chinese Red and Blackbird schemes, so I went out and got some more locomotives. And rolling stock. And waycars.

Hey, it's my layout...
