Thanks, Bill, most informative. After the Burlington Bus bulletin, I wondered how long it would be before we got a Burlington Truck Line bulletin. Can’t wait! Burlington TOFC is another bulletin I’d like to
see. At one point Frank Hodina of Resin Car Works was considering doing a mini-kit to go with Jerry Hamsmith’s FM-11, but I haven’t heard anything about that for some time.

I bought one of these and have assembled it. I asked Jim Gooden, who has done a clinic on Burlington Truck Lines and is working on a Bulletin article about the truck lines, about the kit and decals.
He wrote this back to me:
"I was happy that Sylvan came out with the mid 40’s-50’s BTL decals. It filled a void in the market. I had a model project in mind from a photo of an early 40’ BTL trailers using those graphics. I don’t think this scheme lasted long on the 40’ trailers before
they started using the more common Burlington used on the new locomotives and freight cars of the time.
There are two voids in BTL HO decal graphics that I'm hoping to get filled at some point. The original 1930’s graphics have a different, more rounded font that I’m not familiar with. It’s also difficult to pinpoint the actual color
of the graphics. I believe that it’s most likely gold however it could be silver. The other void is a couple 1960’s variation's and the Burlington Truck Lines Herald."
I know Jim follows the list. So he can probably add more information.

have red lettering. I think I remember that BRHS offered a decal set for the red painted trailers, but I don’t see them in the company store. Did they sell out, or am I imagining things?
