    Thanks for taking the time to add your kind remarks. 
    
    Some RR-HS web sites are just digital brochures that let folks know
    their mission, where to pay dues, events calendar and only a bit
    more.  In contrast, the BRHS web site is a huge repository of
    CB&Q information supplied by member volunteers.  And its content
    continues to grow thanks to our members.  
    
    In the Members Only area there is:

1. The Archives System with thousands of scanned CB&Q documents on-line; 
2. The Publications Index that has over 80,000 references to items and stories in the Burlington Bulletin, the Zephyr and more; 
3. The Digital Library which has over 3,000 articles from past editions of railroad publications such as Railway Age. 
4. The Q rail network which has 
• Lots of information on 1,977 'Q' rail stations
• Maps of the rail lines
• Alignment charts offered via three different features
  
• Links from the station web pages to all photos in the photo system of that station. 
• Rail connection between Q to other roads
• Industries located on the Q
• AKA names of rail lines
• Ice stations
• and more...
  
5. The BRHS Photo system which is a searchable database of over 38,000 photos that were added from the Flickr Photostream system
   
6. The Steam Engine Roster which is another searchable database of thousands of records of past Q steam engines with links to the engine's photos and Burlington Bulletin articles.
7. Forty two (42) videos of past clinics
8. The Resources Room with links to past Zephyrs, data sheets and much more 
   
9. Well... that is enough of this stuff  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
   

    Most of these features/web pages are built so that members can
    directly add or edit the content. They do not need to pass it along
    to some BRHS tech volunteer to add/edit it.  This is kind of unique
    for RR-HS sites. 
    
    The heroes are the ones who have gathered and contribute the
    information and data to the BRHS. One member, Ken Martin has added
    about 260 photos to the web site since the 2024 Annual Meeting in
    Mendota, IL.  Missing alignment charts have been supplied by other
    members.  This sharing, contributing of materials through the web
    site's features makes the membership to the BRHS ever more valuable.
    You could say, it helps to keeps current members and attracts new
    members.

I understand Jack’s frustration. I was an instructor pilot for many years. There were some pilots that needed more reinforcement than others. I’m sure school teachers and college professors have experienced the same thing. 

Your letting the members know takes repetition. And you’ve been doing that.
