Here is the latest operations-oriented video on the HO scale Colorado & Southern Ry, “Easy Ride on a Local Passenger Train”, episode 9.

Train No. 31, the Exhibition Flyer, is not as fast as it sounds.  It's a Colorado & Southern passenger local that stops at every station.  But it's a northbound First Class train -- so all other trains must clear the way.  The Flyer is an "Easy Ride" for its crew.

 

The premiere big-name passenger train on the C&S Northern Division is the Shoshone. Its southbound leg, No. 30, is running very late this morning.  So late that it will need to clear for the much slower Flyer -- unless the Dispatcher steps in to give it superiority over No. 31.  But will he?

 

Ride along with the Flyer road crew as they cruise the railroad on their Easy Ride.
