We return to freight operations in this next operations-oriented video on the HO scale Colorado & Southern Ry, entitled “Foreign Road”:

This time, it’s the Union Pacific Railroad running a local freight train to Boulder Colorado. In 1958, the UP rolls the last two miles on tracks of the Colorado & Southern Railway, thus the title.

 

See how a Union Pacific crew runs with trackage rights on the C&S. Follow the action as today's UP Local delivers household appliances, steel hardware, and more on a sunny June afternoon.

Like the previous videos, it's a bit different than most, and I hope you enjoy it.  And in keeping with this group, I’ll note that there is at least one Burlington Route train in this episode.  J
