Subject: [CBQ] BNSF web site celebrates 175th anniversary of its start

 

As FYI, it is nice to see that on April 16th the BNSF website added a new article to its RailTalk section celebrating the 175th anniversary of the start of the BNSF system. It all began with the Aurora Branch Railroad between Aurora and West Chicago,IL which was the start of the Burlington Route.

If you’re interested go to BNSF.com and click on the Rail Talk item in the top ribbon. Then on the “Rails and Roots……” article.

Ps-the BRHS contributed to the article, it is produced by BNSF with content from BNSF employees,its’ archives and editorial control.
