Hello Everyone,

There is a unique follow-up to the Savanna show on Friday and Saturday.

That Sunday, April 27th, there is a railroadiana show at Elk Grove village, near the O'Hare airport.

You can find books, photos, slides, paperwork, china, and of course hardware. Some of the items will be Burlington ancestry.

You might call that a twofer weekend.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful and relaxing Easter weekend.

Now that we've come to the end of March, it's time to put out a reminder to register for the BRHS 2024 Spring Meet.  The gathering will be held April 26 and 27 in Savanna, IL.

Registrations are going strong, and it looks like we're going to have a great meet.  We have a large number of tables reserved for the Swap Meet and the afternoon clinics will be fun and informative.

Due to the catering folks requesting numbers in advance, we need to have all registrations in hand no later than April 16th.  You can register either online from the website (burlingtonroute.org) or by using the mail-in form that was sent to all members (or it can be printed from the website).  We're asking that, if you mail in your form after April 10,  PLEASE send an email to registration@burlingtonroute.org including the first and last name and hometown that you want on your badge.  Also let us know your selection for lunch (ham, turkey or tuna).  In addition, we need the same information for any guests that will be joining you.  We want to make sure we get your information in case the mail is delayed.

We look forward to seeing you in Savanna at the end of April.  It's sure to be a good time!
