To Carl and others,

The question keeps arising as to whether we will record presentations for others to view who are unable to attend.  Currently, the BRHS has a small team of members who record presentations at our meets and as a benefit to membership, members not in attendance can see those presentations on the 'Members Only' side of our web site.    The BRHS is an all volunteer organization with limited participation from the membership concerning traveling to the different locations where Society functions occur, outside of our two meetings per year, and volunteer time to recording presentations for the non-member community.  We appreciate our membership as a whole for the continued support they provide financially and with physical volunteer hours provided to complete projects, but understand that it is a volunteer organization.  We appreciate the non-member interest in our presentations and organization, and encourage those to consider membership to receive the benefits of membership which include three printed publications about different subject matters on the history of the CB&Q RR, as well as several electronic newsletters, and a thirteen month calendar annually.  Unfortunately, the BRHS does not currently have the resources in place to provide additional benefits to those outside of our membership when it comes to recording our limited number of presentations.
