A different subject related to the 9900. I was told by a reliable source (Charlie Vlk - use to work with him) that the bell on the first Zephyrs was a fire alarm bell. Because of the speed the loco could do, they wanted extra awareness of its presence. WRT to the sound file I hope to create, I have heard two versions so far of bells and I'm hoping someone here can speak on what might be correct. One of the following or something else. One of the bells is in the file done by SBS4DCC that Steve Wintner referenced. I'll see if I can post a link to a video at the point the bell sounds - youtube video queued at https://youtu.be/6XgeK4qVTZo?t=385 . The other I have heard is a significantly faster clapper and a bit higher pitched, much like a building alarm or a bank alarm. I only have the wav file for this, maybe I can get it into the files section if someone needs to hear it. Anxious to hear if anyone knows. 

Also, in the youtube file the next sound is his choice for the horn. He's using the two horns used on later CBQ locomotives (a125 and A200), but I don't know these to be correct. It's been discussed in a different thread here, but I believe as some others do that the first horns were a three chime, pitches not yet determined. Any new insights on that subject?  :)
