JM HOBBY SUPPLY AND RAILROAD ARTIFACT AUCTIONS PRESENTS OUR NEXT RAILROAD ARTIFACT AND MODEL TRAIN AUCTIONS!
FEBRUARY 24-25, 2024
We are excited to let everyone know that we just finished posting our next railroad artifacts and model train auction, to be held on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25, 2024. Both days will begin at 9AM Central Standard Time. You can get direct links to BOTH days by going to our website, www.jmhobbysupply.com, and clicking in the menu on the auction tab. Links for both days are on the auction page. Or, feel free to use these direct links as well:

Sunday, Feb 25: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/315128_jm-hobby-supply-and-rr-artifacts-winter-sale-2/
Saturday will be a LIVE auction, broadcast LIVE on Live Auctioneers, just like our past sales. The sale will feature many amazing items, including herald signs, station clocks, locks, keys, passenger cars step boxes, whistles, bells, tubular lanterns, switch lanterns, marker lanterns, cans, calendars, tools, china, and more, including several special collections! We will be featuring the lanterns of Ray Canole, a well-known collector and expert restorer of large size switch and marker lanterns. Many of his exquisite pieces will be included in this sale. We also have an amazing collection from a long-time collector that features railroad passes, maps, timetables, brochures, and annual reports, with most of the items between the 1830s and 1900s! Many first edition or first issues! Estates of two widows whose husbands were collectors will also be included! And, a special consignment of items from the Chicago Transit Authority will be featured!
Sunday's session will be a TIMED auction. It will NOT be broadcast, but will run the exact same way. This session will feature model trains, with the focus being on HO scale. There are brass trains, new and used locomotives, new-in-the-box freight cars, buildings, DCC power equipment, track, and even new-on-card Hot Wheels and other die cast cars. There are some lots of G and O scale equipment, as well as HOn3 narrow gauge. You can place bids now, or on auction day, and you will be able to watch and bid just like you normally would as each item comes up, in lot order. You just won't hear an auctioneer! Each item has a minimum starting bid. This sale also features the first parts of two major estates.
Make sure to click on the REGISTER FOR AUCTION button on Live Auctioneers to be able to bid in the sales. You will need to have SEPARATE registrations if you intend to bid on BOTH days, otherwise, you can just register for the day in which you are interested.
If you have any questions about the items, email us at jmhobbysupplyandrrartifacts@gmail.com, or through the Live Auctioneers email system. You can also reach us by phone at 920-857-9670.
Thanks for your patronage!
