Dave/Leo - Perhaps, a Chicago area BRHS member or otherwise fan has a drone that could take aerial photographs of the demolition. A lot of Q history is dying here......  It's a little amazing that the roundhouse and diesel shop lasted as long as they did.

 

When my Dad was Chicago Division Superintendent at Cicero he brought home a couple of truck loads of bricks from the roundhouse power plant that was being knocked down from which he constructed a small patio in back of our home at Downers Grove - Louis

It will be pretty tough as an BRHS member who is also a retired BNSF employee advised a month ago that even as retired employee he was denied access to photograph.

There’s nowhere to park along Ogden Ave which is access street.

I received word last night that the Clyde Diesel House is currently undergoing demolition with the roundhouse to follow. It is expected to be complete by late next week with expansion of tracks into the area to expand the ramp.
