The Oct-Dec. 1951 still shows a roundtrip in the public timetable

The Jan -Apr 1952  shows  Freight Service Only in the public timetable

I do not have Employee Timetables from that time period

I use to read the Ottawa Paper on Micro-film.  thru the Monmouth Public Library on getting moved to Texas my local library said they could not get them.  I stopped at the Illinois State Historical Library use to be in the basement of the Old State Capital in Springfield.  The desk gave me a book on the newspapers they had on Micro-film and so I could complete my reading of both the Ottawa and Joliet newspapers.  

If you want to read a book ask at the desk in your library and they can inter-library loan just about any book that is in any library in the whole country.  I once got a book interlibrary loaned in from a library in Maryland.
