Back around 2000 there was an effort made to preserve the depot at Peruque, Missouri on the line from St. Louis to Hannibal. I believe the plan was to move it to St. Peters and restore it. What ever became of this plan? The depot sat on private property near the tracks in Peruque, and it still shows up at this location on a 2008 Google Earth image. However, after that date it disappears. I assume it was either demolished or lost in a flood. Does anything from it survive?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
