    I took the image from the PDF, rotated it from vertical to
    horizontal, cleaned it up with Faststone.org, then saved it as a
    .png file. 
    The .png file size was 48MB, which is too big to send in the email.
    Since this map was all black and white, I changed the file type to
    .gif and reduced the size to 3000pix wide. 
    
    Maybe some on can do a better job.
