The C&S would have used the CB&Q Standard Drawings for things like station signs and depot lettering. Any reference to CB&Q on the standard signs would simply be changed to C&S. The same is true for freight cars that were built for the railroads in the CB&Q
system. The drawing would show CB&Q lettering but specify where C&S or FW&D would be substituted.
