[CBQ] Q Post Cards

Does anyone know what the financial arrangements were between the Q and 
privately owned resorts/attractions that were featured on Q postcards ? One of 
the many I’m thinking of would be Troutdale that was located in Evergreen, CO 
west of Denver and Golden which was not a Q online location. Even today if you 
drive into Evergreen and look to the right signs of the old resort are there if 
you know where to look.
