I vaguely recall a thread with someone asking for details on these old highway bridges. Couldn't find it in the archives. Anyway, here is a pic of the Fir Avenue bridge near Bernhart, IA. This is at roughly MP 262 on the Ottumwa Sub between Fairfield and Batavia. This view looks west, and was taken on Saturday 4/8/23.
