Hello all,

 

We are working with the Craggy Mountain Line folks who are restoring the Q’s Edwards motorcar No. 9505 and we are trying to determine when the Q started painting the red and yellow noses on the motorcars. Al Hoffman did find photographic evidence of the 9505 in service at Atchison, Kansas, in that paint scheme.  We propose that it may have been applied when the four-digit numbers were applied to them around 1930.  Does anyone have evidence that was the case?
