All- Mike Skibbe came across this 1965 photo taken by the CGW Station Agent C.W. Finch from collection of Mark Llanuza at Stockton, Illinois on the CGW. Does anyone know the reason for the detour? Presumably they got on the CGW at East Cabin and judging by the shadows the train is eastbound. Would they have stayed on the CGW until they got to Robey Street and back to home rails or was there another routing?
