Use green shingles on the roof. A 1950s era color photo of the depot in Mt. Union had medium brown shingles, but green was the standard. Later reroofing jobs used tar paper e.g. Winfield, IA. Check the depot photo archive on the member’s Flickr page.

Thanks for your response to my CBQ station paint color question.  Your recommendation are being ordered.   I assume that the roof color can be a medium to dark gray with a tad of green mixed in to approximate slate grey.
