Folks,

They have not even gotten to the Q units yet for tooling and final artwork. When they do, they will be contacting me and I will be sure to address all the issues here.

Subject: [CBQ] Rapido CB&Q E8A's

I sent a question to Rapido on the paint schemes and some other details on the three new Rapido CB&Q E8A's and one E9A. The questions were regarding the side finishes on the different numbers and an E9 plate on unit 9985A. Here is the reply from Jordan at Rapido:

Yes for CB&Q 9942 we will be painting this unit in the all grey paint scheme as per the prototype. The other units will be done up using the same stainless finish we use on our Budd passenger cars.

For the 9985A we will also be using the E9 plate on the side of the engine.
