According to the Rapido Trains Live presentation from Trainworld last night, the Rapido CB&Q E-Units will come with stainless steel sides, except for 9942A. 

If you got to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mX9WMnYqQo and fast forward 26 minutes into the video you will hear the discussion on the CB&Q E-Units. Also note that 9985A is actually an E9. Hopefully Rapido will get the model plate correct on that unit.
