Group - I think this old film link has been posted previously, but a second look is even better:
Some scenes were filmed in and around the old Western Avenue yard in Chicago with its giant steel coal chute and passenger locomotive roundhouse.
With the huge savings in operating costs, no wonder the railroads raced to replace steam locomotives with diesel power - Louis
