The photos of the train being moved that were posted show the rear of the observation car and the drumhead is intact.

I am not certain but I think the “drumhead” was not removeable but was fairly integral to the carbody.

A friend that knows one of Ernie Hayes' daughters is going to ask about the MTZ drumhead and try to find out what happened to it.
