Production of the Peoria Branch book has been delayed due to file transfer and scanning difficulties in the book files.  When I left to go to Arizona for the winter, I downloaded the files to a portable hard drive and reopened it on my computer in Arizona.  When I was ready to return to Galesburg in April, we discovered that the files that I brought to Arizona had not been updated with the additions and corrections that had been made that had been made in January and February.

as a result, the files had to be re-worked and scans redone in April. 

As a positive note, some photos from Central Illinois photographer Wayne Bridges, became available and these were  worked into the chapters.

I am currently estimating the arrival of the books from the printer at the end of September or early October. This could change if there are any problems with the transportation companies.  I have accepted the printer's bid for 650 copies so this will be a extremely limited printing.

A refund will be sent immediately upon request for anyone who cares not to wait.  Thanks for all who pre-ordered which makes the cost of publishing possible.
