Jim Fergusson's Railway and Tramway Station Lists

The above web site provides an incredible wealth of information about railroad names and their railroad stations. The lists provide the current owner along with many or most if not all of the predecessor railroads that operated these stations. Additional information includes: Narrow Gauge Railroads, Junction names, Interlocking Towers (Cabins, Signal Stations), Yards (most), Ferry terminals and Ferry crossings Docks Boat trains, Wharves, etc. The listings do not include roundhouses or shops, however.

 

The lists are in pdf format, and can be searched for a specific city, railroad or type (Junction, Interlocking, Yard). Many, many short lines and interurbans are included, along with major city subway and elevated railway stations.
