The LNP&W was CB&Q 508 / 9508, also a Buda-Edwards, built in April 1926 (10 months after 504) with space for 22 passengers compared to the 41 person capacity of 504, but with a longer baggage section. It was sold to the LNP&W in March 1931 and, I believe, retained the same number.

Looks very similar to the Laramie, North Park & Western, which Perry also photographed. LNP&W had shorter passenger section though.

Thanks!

Subject: [CBQ] Edwards motor car 504 and HAM reweigh

I have two, unrelated questions:

1. Does anyone have a photo of CB&Q Edwards motor car #504 or its later incarnation as C&S 500 (or know of a source)?

2. A friend has asked whether the Q, C&S, or FW&D had a freight car reweigh site abbreviated HAM. Does anyone know of such a site?

Thanks for any help with either of these.
