As previously reported I am working on a presentation on the 
Streator-Walnut,IL line know as the I.V. &N.  I’ve come across a photo clearly 
taken from the dome of a Budd car at La Salle as it passes the Q depot and 
freight house. 
Anybody able to advise what a dome was doing at La Salle on 9/2/56 ? Steam 
excursion,detour,etc ?

Presentation is March 21st, Peoria,IL north branch library at 1PM for Illinois 
Valley chapter of NMRA.
