The two NE-10s are ready for priming and painting. I attached some close-up photos of some of the details. The antenna is a combination of kit mast, Detail Associates wagon wheel, and scratchbuilt styrene parts. I used the brass strips from the Detail Associates wagon wheel antenna braces to bend the running board end supports. The running board is from Plano. The ladder, smoke jack, toilet vents, and antenna are test fitted so they can be removed for painting separately. Window glazing and detail parts will be added after painting, then the decals will be applied.
I’ve communicated with Dave about writing up suggestions for making the kit easier to build, and information on optional details.
