My timetables from that period and Strauss Vol. 1 both just say motorcar. They do not indicate if there was a trailer with the motorcar.

Where could I go to find a typical consist for Train 179 in 1937? I would guess there would be a mail/baggage car and at least one coach. But any specificity would be appreciated. Happy Holidays to all CB&Q enthusiasts!
