Ray,

EMD’s basic cab interior color was called Suede Gray. The light green color, 
which the Q apparently used, was an optional color. Southern Pacific used the 
green for many years. The Suede Gray, of course, was also used in the engine 
room, but I have seen green used there, too. In the late 1980s, EMD started 
using tans with brown trim in the cabs.
