(looks like the system "trimmed" the first note I sent...)

"I'm modelling the Burlington in Aurora, IL in 1966."

Hi Don, Tom, and List,

Not what you were asking about, but it strikes me Aurora ca. 1966 is a great location for pool power from multiple railroads.     I believe the NYQ from Elkhart, IN, to Galesburg started that year:  there is a shot in a 1967 "Trains" issue of U-boats from both roads headed through downtown Aurora with the train.   And the long-standing CB&Q-UP pool was more or less extended east on the PRR to Conway, PA (that may not have occurred till early '67, but what's a few months?).   Plenty of shots on all 3 railroads showing PRR-CB&Q-UP power in mixed lash-ups.

Sounds like plenty of rationale to load up with neat 1960's power for your layout!
