Thanks, Hol! I've passed this along. Bryan

The Burlington numbered its passenger cars in order according to length, with the shortest cars receiving the lowest numbers. And coaches 5000-5025 were all between 40 and 44 feet long over end sills, so a number in the low 5000s would be appropriate..

We received the following inquiry on the BRHS Facebook page from a Q fan in Germany. These cars are way before my interest in the Q and I don't have any answers for him. Can anyone help him out? I have a problem to find the right number for my Selley passenger cars which will be lettered as cars of Burlington Ry. The second pic shows a similar short combine with no. 3256. Which no. could have my short passenger car? Or is there to find an overview about numbering of old time passenger cars of Burlington Ry. in the web? Thanks for your help! I'm guessing there isn't an exact prototype for the car based on the differences between the photo of the 3256 and his model, but would there be any cars that would be close and the number range on those? Thanks! Bryan J. Howell _._,_._,_
