There is an ex-suburban car in company service shown in a photo at
https://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-SLIDE-CHICAGO-BURLINGTON-QUINCY-RR-250506-KCMO-1969/113686274695?hash=item1a783ae287:g:1EEAAOSw3Hpciwy6
The car is painted grey with a horizontal red stripe along the top of the sides and ends and similarly along the bottoms. It looks like the road initials and number are also in red. It is coupled to a composite gondola, possibly a GS-7, also painted grey. The
vertical bars on the gondola sides have, in effect, been extended perhaps a foot or so above the top rim of the gondola sides, and there is some sort of roof attached to these extensions. Any suggestions?
The cars are alongside Norris grain elevators, complete with Burlington Route heralds. Would anyone have a better view of the elevators?
