Thanks for the spelling correction – I took the name from the original Zephyr piece. There’s quite a bit on line about the company including a reference
to its use of the railroad tank cars, bottling the water at Franklin Street and later at 420 W. Ontario St., a large bottling plant they built in 1911. I haven’t searched yet
on either location to see if they connected to CB&Q tracks.
But my main focus is still on 91998.

Hi Rupert and all:
The company Hinckley & Schmitt (note the 'c' in Hinckley) is still in business in the Chicago area and elsewhere although with a corporate address in Florida. This from hinckleysprings.com:
Hinckley Springs® water has been satisfying customers throughout the Midwest with crisp, refreshing bottled water since 1888, the year Otis Hinckley and George J. Schmitt
established Hinckley & Schmitt. Hinckley, a spring water route deliveryman, and Schmitt, a pharmacist's assistant, used their experience and knowledge to purchase water from White Rock Corporation to deliver to customers. Today, as a favorite American brand,
Hinckley Springs offers spring, purified, distilled and fluoridated bottled water options to customers throughout the Midwest, including locations across Illinois, Indiana, Kansas and Wisconsin.
