If they were factory painted and were nice, they are the Iron Horse/Precision Scale.  They came in three or four different variations, including blanked windows, non-blanked windows, and freight ladders.

The  boxes might have been orange or red, wish I would have remembered that part!  I did look t one of them and they looked very nice.

Rick,

If these were in orange boxes, they were imported by Precision Scale.

All

I was in a hobby shop in Lincoln, NE (just a couple of blocks from the Havelock shops) and they had 4 brass HO scale Burlington BE-1 converted troop cars. I cannot remember the manufacturer but all 4 were new in the original boxes, they were asking $264 each if I remember correctly.  The owner deals mainly in O scale is is closing out the remaining HO and N gauge items.  I didn't see any other Q items.

Here is the website:  https://www.grandcentralltd.com/ and phone number (402) 467-3738

I do not work for this hobby shop nor do I gain anything by sending this information.

Thanks

Ricky Keil
Papillion, NE
