Not all "branch line passenger equipment " operated just on branch lines.
On the Aurora Division the Oregon Turn wayfreight operated on the C & I
mainline from Aurora,IL to Oregon, IL and return daily as a mixed into the
1960s. It was based at Eola yard. I'm traveling and can't access files for
exact dates. The 3003 a "shorty" converted from (?) and served as the
waycar/passenger accommodation for many years.

There are pictures of the 3003 in Daniels waycar book and others. The Glick
books likely
Have drawings of and info. As to what car the 3003 was converted from.
