I'm looking for Chicago, Galesburg & St. Louis employee timetables from the years 1868 to 1872. The oldest ETT in the Newberry Library is #111, dated May 26, 1878.
I'm trying to pin down when the second track was constructed between Leland and Earl(ville). I know it was between 1869 and 1872. The alignment chart says 1872, but I don't trust the date because it uses 1872 for
the second track from Bristol to MP 71+ east of Earlville (and I know that date is way too early for the portion east of Leland). The timetables would show where scheduled train meets occurred and where register points were at ends of double track.
I know this is a long shot for a timetable this old, but I thought I would ask the question anyway.
