 I keep finding more info. There is a 1991 image on Google Earth that clearly shows the turn table. I do not see the engine shed or depot in the image. It also gives a pretty good position for the switch. One of the elevators shown is probably a now demolished wooden-crib elevator as shown on the town platt.

I hope I am not causing upset in the group by sending so many posts but I do enjoy finding information on old infrastructure using aerial images available on the net. I guess it's my inner Indiana Jones coming out.

There is an aerial photo from 16-SEP-1953 ID#ARA001270030516 available from the USGS website. "https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/"

The image is over 100 meg or I would email it to you. It is a little grainy but using the platt map and the image you can see the location of the turntable and the engine house. There is a free registration to be able to download but it is relatively painless.
