Rupert, depending on the browser you use, most will export into an HTML source file.  You can then send me the file and I can easily import the links.

Cheers!

Here is a list of the on-line links to book and magazine sites that I use.

I have a large number of links but is there an easy way to convert my Favourites list into a Word document other than opening each site and copying the web address?

Group,

We're going to build a links page, and encouraging everyone to help.  This would be a similar resource to Rupert's excellent Publications Index, but for online websites/resources.

Everything should be CB&Q related, but could be a resource that also has other RR information.  Some examples:

  • ICC accident reports
  • Sites with photos (like http://www.rrpicturearchives.net)
  • Sites with CB&Q archive photos (such as the Barriger library on Flickr)
  • Specific links to online books or videos that have CB&Q material (such as Google books or YouTube vids)

Send your information directly to me, and for each link, please provide a short description of the resource.

The final list will be placed on the BRHS website.

Thanks!

Jan Kohl
