Hi All,

This was an article in the Burlington Hawk Eye newspaper about the restoration of the two telepone booths in the Burlington Depot that I posted to the BRHS Facebook page. I was unaware until now that posts on our Facebook page will now go to both the BRHSList and CBQ groups.io pages.  I'm glad that Bryan has explained why.

No, it is not a phishing scam. One of the features of Groups.io is being able to integrate a Facebook page into the group. So, whenever a post is made on the BRHS Facebook page, it is sent out as an e-mail on here. Because a link was shared, it didn't send along a photo. If a photo were to be shared on the Facebook page, that photo would come through as part of the message. We are still testing this feature out, but rest assured it is safe and not a scam of any sort.

What is this photo supposed to be and how is it related to the CBQ list? The same photo was received on the BRHS io group last night. There seems to be no text with the photo. It has no railroad or CB&Q content. There is a reference to Facebook at the top. It looks like it was somehow sent through the BRHS, but no other identification. It is also quite large. I had to reduce it to view it. Hopefully, it is not a phishing scam!
