Leo, Charlie and Group - Here's an image of 547 en route to the scrap yard with main and eccentric rods removed. It was taken at Congress Park, IL, in 1954.  These USRA design 0-8-0's were very efficient switch engines and lasted in service nearly to the end of steam. They were replaced by displaced Class O-1-A 2-8-2's until new diesel switchers spelled their doom, too. Best Regards - Louis

I'm away from the office so i don't have access to my research material. Would someone look in Corbin's "Steam Locomotives of the Burlington" or another source and advise what scrapper/dismantler cut of the 547 and when.
